THE ART OF
PARTICIPATORY
LEADERSHIP

Training programme

Participatory Leadership and hosting meaningful conversations is a practice rather than a theory and therefore this training will be highly experiential, interactive and motivational.

We will be working and learning together using the methodologies we apply in staff engagement and stakeholder consultation, with immediate practice opportunities. You will have opportunity to step in, join a coaching session  and prepare to cohost part of the process.

The hosting team will explain underpinning theories and concepts, share stories and bring inputs from their work in business contexts. They will also respond to any questions throughout the training.

Purpose of this training:
  • Explore hosting and harvesting conversations as a leadership practice and approach for engaging colleagues, partners, clients,  all stakeholders
  • Learn participatory and systemic methods and tools as Circle, World Café, Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space, Design for wiser actions, Four fold practice and others
  • Worldviews and models that will help you working with complexity
  • Addressing questions relevant to your specific context
  • Ignite your passion for more of this work - and maybe create new initiatives and projects that would not have happened without this training
  • Post-training support: follow up session, individual/group coaching
  • An invitation to join the AoH world network for inspiration and support of  your practice
